Christmas Musical 2010

Celebrating were from left to right, John Cline, Sandy (Lehman) King, Ivan Martindale, Jane (Schantz) Shepherd, Terry Duffey, Carolyn (Sensney) White, Jack Johnson, Ned Kent, Sharon (Hastings) Holtsclaw, Avanell (Freeman) Kuhlenschmidt , Emilie (Mullis) Slinkard, and Juanita (Wright) Gilbert.

Greenhouse Opens

The 16' by 24' glass "Grand Hideaway" greenhouse is custom built by International Greenhouses in Georgetown, Illinois. It features radiant floor heat and a includes 1000 gallon fish pond. It is available for use by residents, and is used to meet the farm's many landscape needs.

Picnic Pavilion Completed

Pleasant Grove Farm marked a turning point in its ongoing development with the opening of the community Picnic Pavilion. The Pavilion is available for residents and their guests and is also available for rent by groups of less than 100. Several events are scheduled each year.
